Some form of baseline biosecurity is required for any herd investigation, even
seemingly low risk activities. Beyond the risks of your exposure to an agent,
you run the risk of spreading diseases from farm to farm. At a minimum, use of
clean overalls, clean boots, basic hand hygiene and access to sharps disposal
should be deployed.
